Two Charged in Welfare Fraud

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Ky (WKRC) -- Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway says a state employee is one of two people charged in a welfare fraud investigation.

34 year old Angela Weatherington who works at the cabinet for Health and Family Services in Campbell County faces two counts of assistance fraud.  She's accused of helping 41 year old Nicholas Wilson of Fort Thomas falsely get more than ten thousand dollars in medicaid and food stamp benefits.

Wilson is charged with two counts of scheming to defraud an assistance program.  Both face up to twenty years in prison if convicted.
