Police Search for Attempted Child Abductor


SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- In a news release from the Springfield Township Police Department it has been determined there was no offense in what was thought to be an attempted child abduction.

Police were dispatched to Hamilton Ave and Hudepohl Tuesday afternoon.  A 16 year old was approached by a female driving a Jeep. 

A short time later the vehicle and driver was located and police say it was determined there was no offense.
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Springfield Township Police are searching for a suspect in an attempted child abduction.

Around 4:15p.m. a woman driving a green jeep with a Bengals cover over the rear spare tire allegedly attempted to abduct a child.

She was on the 1700 block of Brightview Drive.

The child was not taken and the driver left the area.

The woman is being described as a white female in her late 20's with red hair.
