2-Alarm Fire at Northwest Fairmount Apartment Building

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Two alarms had to be called for a fire Saturday morning in Northwest Fairmount. It broke out just after 7:30 a.m. at a large apartment building on McHenry Avenue, near the intersection with Westwood-Northern Boulevard.

The fire was put out fast. And no one was hurt. Extra crews were called in because this is such a large apartment building and so many people were at risk.

The Cincinnati Fire Department says the damage estimate is $10,000. It's still not clear how the fire started.
