Crayons to Computers Announced as 2013 Impact 100 Grant Recipient

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Crayons to Computers (C2C), a local non-profit organization committed to providing every child with the quantity and quality of supplies needed to succeed in school, was named as a 2013 Impact 100 Grant Recipient on September 24, 2013.  C2C will use this $108,000 grant to create a Mobile Services Delivery Program that will enable the organization to expand its reach to area schools, teachers and school-age children. Approximately 1,300 teachers and 18,000 students will be served through this new program within a six county area.  The schools targeted for the Mobile Services Program face significant distance and time barriers to accessing and utilizing Crayons to Computers Teacher Free Store located in Bond Hill.

Susan Frankel, President & CEO comments, The Impact 100 grant will enable us to further fulfill our mission of serving all needy students in the greater Cincinnati area.  The Mobile Services Delivery Program affords Crayons to Computers the opportunity to respond to a group of schools, teachers and students who might otherwise not be able to access our resources.
