Shooting Victim Moved for Rehab

FORT THOMAS, Ky. (WKRC) -- Medics move a woman shot by her estranged husband to Georgia to continue her rehabilitation.

According to the "Aid for Alisha" website, Alisha Waters flew to Atlanta for treatment at the Shepherd Center.  That's a nationally known facility that specializes in treatment of spinal cord and brain injuries.

Bullets fired by Dennis Mathis left Waters partially paralyzed.  He ambushed her August sixth when she arrived for work at a Fort Thomas office building.

A post on her care website also says Waters will be interviewed next week for a future segment on the Doctor Phil show.
