$1M bond for man in slaying of 14-year-old

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Bond has been set at $1 million for a 24-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a 14-year-old boy on a Cincinnati street last week.

Julius White was booked into jail Saturday on a charge of aggravated murder and was held without bond over the weekend.

Court records say he's accused of purposefully killing Dwayne Lewis Jr. during a kidnapping on Tuesday.

Police have not discussed a motive or other details of the attack but say in court records that the charge against White is based on witness statements, surveillance video and evidence at the crime scene.

The body of the ninth-grader was found in the street, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jail records did not list an attorney for White.
