Overturned Semi Blocking Highway Ramp

UPDATE: 5:10p.m.
Chief Deputy Mark Schoonover of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office sent a press release Monday on the single vehicle rollover crash involving a semi tractor trailer.

The incident happened around 2:30p.m. on northbound I-275 at the westbound I-74 entrance ramp in Whitewater Township.

A semi tractor trailor, owned by Trans America, was being operated by 48-year-old Rhonda L. Skone.  As the vehicle entered into the curve Skone lost control causing the vehicle to travel of the left side of the roadway and overturned onto it's left side. 

Skone was trapped in the vehicle for about 20 minutes until EMS cut her out and transported her to UC Medical Center.  Her injuries are reported non-life threatening.  Skone was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.

The ramp is expected to be closed until 6p.m.

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- I-275 north ramp to I-74 west is closed due to an overturned semi.

Hamilton County dispatch confirms the driver was entrapped in the cab.

His condition is unknown at this time.

Hamilton County Dispatch has estimated the ramp will be closed until 6p.m.
