Ohio AG Sues Montgomery Company for Misrepresentation

MONTGOMERY, Ohio (WKRC) -- Ohio's Attorney General is suing Montgomery-based Form Giant LLC. It's the business behind  Mike DeWine says the business is misrepresenting itself as being associated with the U.S. Postal Service. However, the website is a for-profit company that charges for its services. charges $9.95 to $29.95 to change a customer's address, according to the Attorney General's office. The USPS charges just $1 for the same service. Nationwide, at least 600 people have filed complaints about the business with the Better Business Bureau.

The lawsuit charges the business and its CEO with violations of Ohio's Consumer Sales Practices Act, including misrepresentation and failure to clearly disclose exclusions and limitations. In the lawsuit, DeWine is trying to get money back for consumers and penalties.
