The Cooler: Tuesday, July 31

Man walks a steel beam between two hot air balloons.

A Chinese tightrope walker broke a Guiness Book World Record on Tuesday. Connected by an 18-meter long, five-centimeter wide steel beam, Mr. Wubulikaisim made the crossing between two hot air balloons in 38.35 seconds. He did have to squat down at one point to maintain balance. Apparently, that's okay in terms of the record. Falling, however, would have been a problem.
