You may have noticed Local12.com has a new look! We have a new website, designed to support more video for our online users, as well as to provide a better expereince with more of the latest technologies for users on desktop and mobile devices.
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions viewers have about the new site, which went live on Monday.
1. I had a bookmark for Local12.com but it no longer works-I get an error message when I click on it. We suggest that you delete your old bookmark AND clean your computer's cache.

2. What happened to the Local 12 app? I can't get it to work on my mobile device anymore. We developed a new app to work with the new website. We are waiting for both the Android and iPhone versions to be made available in their respective stores. We'll be sure to post a message on our Twitter and Facebook pages when the apps are available. In the meantime, you can view the mobile version of our website. Just type m.local12.com into the browser of your mobile device.
3. Will I still receive text alerts for breaking news from Local 12? You'll need to sign up to receive breaking news alerts to your phone, even if you received them from our previous website. It's easy-just text LOCAL12News to 45203 to automatically be entered into our news alert database. We will have a system to receive weather alerts soon and we'll post details on Local12.com, Facebook, and Twitter. You can always see weather alerts on Twitter and Facebook.
4. Why can't I comment on specific stories on Local12.com anymore? Our new website system does not have the capability for comment posts on individual stories. But we encourage you to engage in respectful dialogue about any story on our Facebook or Twitter pages. There is a link to both those social media platforms directly under each story on Local12.com.
