The 2013 Cincy Celebration of Champions includes university students, patrons, the news media and the public-at-large who join with some of the regions most important social service organizations.
November 15th, National Philanthropy Day
University of Cincinnati's Nippert Stadium
University students, patrons, the news media and the public-at-large join with some of the regions most important social service organizations.
Prior to this event, all participating student and social service organizations will sell Wiffle Balls which result in large funds raised directly for charity. Winners (at the event) will receive high impact and cash prizes. This is likely to be worlds largest drop of numbered Wiffle balls. The Guinness Company "judge" will be on-hand to qualify the event internationally.
100,000 Wiffle Balls will be dropped at this public ceremony at Nippert Stadium. A large pelican (constructed by Department 7) will be executed by a Sykorsky Helicopter from Midwest Helicopter Airways, Inc to drop the balls. Local celebrities will participate in the festivities.
Together-Together, UC and TSFF have jointly recognized the leadership opportunity represented by this collaboration (Project Pelican) and created The Event to demonstrate to our entire community the POWER of TOGETHER!
