Team credited with tracking rape suspect

More is coming out now, about Stanley Lightner, what DNA evidence says he did 18-years ago.

Back in May, Lightner was just one of the more than 1300 convicted sex offenders living in Hamilton County, required by law to tell police where they live. Now, his DNA matches evidence from four unsolved sexual assaults in 1995.

Two of the victims were 12 years old.

Local 12 News Reporter Deborah Dixon has new information on a story she broke earlier this week. She shows us more on the sex offender tracking team and new charges in the case. The sheriffs department went big with Operation Clean Sweep in May, putting together 44 officers from four agencies to knock on 1,114 doors.

Sheriff Jim Neil, Hamilton County: "It was made responsible to this sheriff to verify where you are living we will be checking."
