Chase Bank Changes Policy on Joint Credit Cards

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Chase Bank will no longer offer joint credit cards, saying it's trying to simplify its offerings.

Instead, you'll ed to add your spouse or anyone else as an authorized user to your account.

Existing joint account customers will not be affected.

Chase is not the first issuer to get rid of the joint credit card option.  HSBC scrapped it in 2010, and Capital One stopped offering the option about ten years ago.
