A Soldier's Surprise

READING, Ohio (Paula Toti) -- Staff Sergeant Tony Reed is a graduate of Reading High School.

He played a lot of football on the field and is only hours back from his third tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Football has meant a lot to the family and their oldest boy.  So Reed's wife thought combine football and a special kind of homecoming.

Reading Pee Wee football players took part in pre-game festivities for the High School Homecoming.  One seven year old has been missing his dad, Staff Sergeant Tony Reed, who went to Afghanistan in November.

Dylan Reed had no idea his dad was around the corner.

Not quite yet ready to see Dylan or his four year old twins.  He had reunited with his wife who plotted the surprise.  All set to happen after the homecoming coronation.

Most in the crowd had no idea what was ahead.

After such build up, Dylan knew in an instant it was dad.

Tears all around, twins CJ and Cameron have clearly missed dad.

Tonight when dad said bye it was only for a few minutes.  Tonight the family would leave arm in arm.
