Gay Marriage to be Allowed in New Jersey
NEW JERSEY (WKRC) -- Gay marriage is about to become legal in another state.
A court in New Jersey agrees to allow same-sex couples to marry beginning Monday.
The state's highest court upheld a decision by a lower-court judge despite a request from Governor Chris Christie to delay the weddings.
Christie wanted the delay while the state supreme court decides a broader question on whether gay marriage should be legal.
The court will hear arguments on that in January.
