Man avoids jail time for gun arrest at Flying Pig Marathon

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The man who pleaded guilty to stalking a Flying Pig Marathon organizer and taking a gun to the event, avoids jail time.

A judge sentenced David Moore to two years of probation on Wednesday. It was an agreed upon sentenced after Moore pleaded guilty to charges of menacing by stalking and carrying a concealed weapon.

Moore showed up at the marathon and was stopped by Cincinnati police. He was carrying a loaded gun and talking about terrorism. Before his arrest, he called the executive director of the marathon. He talked about terrorism, asked if he could speak on the stage, asked the director about her relationship status and complained about his bib number for the race.

Moore must also stay away from the Flying Pig Marathon, stay in treatment and he's not allowed to have any weapons.

No one was hurt in the incident last May.
