Hamilton police looking for thief

HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC) -- Hamilton police need your help to find Phillip Vinson, who faces kidnapping and robbery charges. Investigators say Vinson robbed the Minnicks Drive-thru on Pyramid Boulevard back on October 20th.

It appears Vinson implied he had a weapon when he forced the clerk into the bathroom and locked the door. After that, he tried to cut the lock off the store safe, but failed.

Police say Vinson still managed to get away with 11 hundred dollars and some lottery tickets.

Vinson also goes by the name Phillip Cherrenfro. He is 31 years old, six feet two inches tall and weighs about 230 pounds.

His last known address is on Seven Mile Avenue in Hamilton, but is also known to stay with friends.
