Standoff Suspect in Court
FRANKLIN, Ohio (WRKC) -- A man is expected to appear in court Friday afternoon after causing an hour long standoff with police.
39-year-old Daryl Napier is being held in the Warren County Jail on two counts of obstructing official business, resisting arrest, possession of a drug abuse instrument, possession of heroin and burglary.
Franklin Police first arrested Napier Christmas Eve for failing to appear on a stolen property charge. Police say he ended up in the hospital after fighting with an officer.
At some point on Christmas, Napier left the hospital. Police say he broke into a home in Franklin Township and grabbed a large hunting knife. Officers eventually found him Thursday morning, hiding in his ex-wife's house on North Main Street in Franklin.
