City of Cincinnati Winter Operations Update
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Crews are treating both residential and primary streets at this time. More than 85-percent of primary routes have received an initial round of treatment.
Pavement temperatures remain above freezing, but as those temperatures continue to fall, freezing roadway and hazardous conditions will become increasingly likely.
Throughout the majority of this weather event, they plan to keep 65-70 trucks on the road with crews working rotating 12 hour shifts.
Slick spots develop can develop quickly when temperatures drop below freezing on wet road surfaces. Be especially cautious on elevated roadways.
Take your time driving to your destination and use your seatbelt.
