Police Helicopter Crashes Into Crowded Pub in Scotland

GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) - Scottish police say eight people are now confirmed dead following the crash of a police helicopter into a crowded Glasgow pub.
Chief Constable Stephen House says all those aboard the helicopter - two officers and a civilian pilot - died when the aircraft crashed into the roof of The Clutha pub and five other people were killed on the ground.
He said Saturday that 14 injured people remain in Glasgow hospitals following the crash.Scottish police say 32 people have been taken to hospitals across Glasgow after the police helicopter crashed into a crowded pub overnight.
Rescuers have been working through the night to rescue people trapped inside The Clutha pub in the center of Glasgow.
Officials said Saturday they are still working to get to people who are trapped inside the pub. As dawn broke, firefighters were pictured working on the collapsed roof.
