Video of Trooper Being Struck Serves as Safety Reminder

**WARNING: VIDEO IS GRAPHIC**

WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- Ohio state troopers hope that a Warren County trooper's brush with death will make other drivers think of safety on our roadways.

Thursday the patrol released cruiser cam video of trooper Brent Hill being struck by a vehicle along I-75 while he was on a traffic stop.

The incident it left Hill critically injured.  Trooper Hill had only been out of the academy for a couple of weeks and was with a training officer when he was struck last February.

The driver who hit him did not slow down and was speeding on an icy morning.

Trooper Hill was not able to return to work because of his injuries.

The highway patrol wants to remind you to move over and slow down if you see cruisers along the road.
