Special Delivery for SPCA Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Procter and Gamble makes a huge delivery to the SPCA Cincinnati.

A gift of 40,000 pounds of Iams pet food was dropped off at the animal shelter's Conrey Road location in Sharonville.  The food is for both dogs and cats.

This huge donation helps keep the animals healthy and it helps with the SPCA's budget.

The President and CEO of SPCA Cincinnati said, "It helps us to keep our fees low when truckloads of food, I mean this is a little over 40 thousand pounds of food which will sustain our animals for a good long time. "

SPCA Cincinnati has placed more than 7,000 animals in new homes in 2013.  That's 1,000 more than last year.
