Campbell County issues Level One Travel Advisory

ALEXANDRIA, Ky. (WKRC) -- The Campbell County Office of Emergency Management, with the concurrence of the Campbell County Transportation Department, Campbell County Police Department and the County Judge/Executive's Office has issued a Level One travel advisory for Campbell County, Kentucky. This travel advisory is intended to notify Campbell County residents of hazardous road conditions. Cautious driving is advised.

This travel advisory will be effective until further notice. 

William R. Turner, Director of the Campbell County Office of Emergency Management urges motorist to use extreme caution should travel be necessary. Turner noted that road conditions are expected to worsen rapidly this afternoon around the rush hour.

This travel advisory will be rescinded by the Office of Emergency Management when, upon concurrence with the Transportation Department, road conditions are no longer in a dangerous or hazardous condition.
