Police Raid Meth Lab Not Far from School

UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Crews in hazmat suits are going into a home where there is a meth lab in Union Township, Clermont County. Police are questioning a man and his girlfriend who live at the home.

Police got a tip about the meth lab, which is located at a home on Greenwood Lane near Glen Este-Withamsville. Officers executed a search warrant and discovered the lab. It takes up two rooms inside the home.

The property is 150 to 200 yards from St. Thomas More school on Ohio Pike. Investigators warned the school ahead of time what was going on.

Union Township police, the Clermont County Narcotics Unit and Union Township firefighters are all at the scene. Police believe the man who lives at the home is a significant meth dealer in the area.
