Police looking for Green Township thief

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Green Township police hope surveillance pictures will lead them to the armed thief who robbed a convenience store.

Monday night, the man began to buy something at the Speedway on Glenway Ave. When the clerk opened the cash drawer, the thief took out a knife and demanded cash. He grabbed money from the drawer and took off.

He's a white man, believed to be in his 20s. He's 6 feet tall, about 170 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket with writing on the left sleeve, a black baseball hat, gray sweatpants and blue and black Nike gym shoes. Police say he drove away in a black, early 2000s Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The clerk wasn't hurt. If you have any information, call CrimeStoppers at 352-3040. You could be eligible for a reward.
