Father Describes Tragedy After Family Killed in Fire

KETTERING, Ohio (WKRC) -- The Kettering man who lost his wife, two sons, and father-in-law when flames tore through their home speaks out about the tragedy.

Shaun Mobley says the chaos of trying to get his family out of the burning home last Thursday morning was terrifying.  Mobley says his wife, Alicia, went across the hall to get the two boys while he headed downstairs to get their daughters.

He said he didn't know she hadn't followed him and couldn't see anything because of the smoke.

Thursday was the couple's 11th wedding anniversary.

"My wife would tell me everyday, 'I love you more than life itself,' and I know what she meant.  They're in a better place...I've got four angels."

The state fire marshal still hasn't determined the cause of a fire.
