6,000 People go Caroling for a Girl with Cancer

PENNSYLVANIA (WKRC) -- More than 6,000 people gathered at the home of a young cancer patient in Pennsylvania to help grant a Christmas wish, the sound of caroling.

8-year-old Delaney Brown was diagnosed with a rare cancer last summer and has been given days to live by her doctors.

Another of Brown's wishes was to meet her fellow Pennsylvania native, pop star Taylor Swift, with whom she enjoyed a video chat earlier in the month.

Many of the people who came learned about Delaney though social media.

Delaney was also recognized by the Pennsylvania State Senate and House of Representatives as an ambassador of hope and inspiration as she brings more awareness to childhood cancer.
