Tools Donated to Good Samaritan Targeted by Theft

MONTGOMERY, Ohio (WKRC) -- A good Samaritan who was targeted by a thief gets help from a stranger.

Local 12 was first told about "Bob" from Montgomery earlier this week when his tools were stolen from his pickup truck.  He uses them to help stranded drivers all over the tri-state.

After Local 12 News reported the crime, Denver Jones stepped up.  The Oakley man is a former mechanic who lost his sight last year.  Because of that he says he no longer needs those tools and wanted to donate them to "Bob."

Saturday, Jones handed over the nice gift.

No arrests have been made in the tool theft.  If you have any information that can help police call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.
