Trustees Call Meeting After Fire Chief Resigns

MONROE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Two days after their fire chief abruptly resigns a Clermont County township announces an emergency meeting.

Monroe Township trustees will hold the meeting Friday at 8a.m. at the administration building.

They say it's about "legal matters concerning personnel."

Fire chief Tom Marck says he's received an email from the trustees requesting his presence at the meeting.  Mark says he is resigning because trustees re-allocated 30,000 dollars out of his budget to pay for a township employee's salary.
