Taxi Driver Suffers Brutal Attack

SEDAMSVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) -- A cab driver is seriously injured Wednesday afternoon by a passenger.

The passenger was picked up in the 2100 block of Harrison Avenue.  An altercation took place and the passenger stabbed the driver in the face and chest before stealing the taxicab.

The victim was found in a parking lot on Hillside Ave. and taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  He will be undergoing surgery for his injuries.

The cab was last seen going westbound on US 50 (River Road) and is still missing.  It is a purple 2004 Lincoln Towne Car with "Ridaway Taxi" on both the driver and passenger doors.  The cab unit number is "673" with the license plate "FNH 7836" (Ohio).

The suspect is a white male in his 50's, bald and wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
