Suspected killers of Wayneville teen held without bond

WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- Two young men charged in the brutal death of an 18-year-old appear in a Warren County courtroom Thursday. Investigators discovered Justin Back's body Wednesday afternoon in Preble County.

He disappeared Tuesday from his home on Corwin Road in Waynesville. Investigators say 19-year-old Austin Meyers and 19-year-old Timothy Mosley broke into Back's home to rob him. Once inside, they allegedly beat, choked, stabbed and shot their victim. Court documents reveal the pair have admitted to the murder.

The Warren County Sheriff says Back knew both his attackers, but has not said why Back was a target for robbery. Meyers and Mosley both face charges of aggravated murder. They were ordered held without bond and are due back in court February 4th.

Back was a graduate of Waynesville High School. The district released a statement on its website reading, "We were very sad to hear the news about Justin. Our hearts go out to his family and friends. He was a good student when he was here and was going to serve our country in the military beginning next month.
