Judge Tracie Hunter arraigned on criminal charges

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Juvenile court judge Tracie Hunter was arraigned on nine felony charges during a brief court appearance Friday.

Hunter's attorney pleaded not guilty on her behalf to the charges of tampering with evidence, forgery, theft in office, misuse of a credit card and unlawful interest in a public contract.

Judge Norbert Nadel set an O.R.  bond which means she does not have to post bond to remain out of jail.

Judge Hunter had not comment as she left the courtroom. However supporter Bishop Bobby Hilton of the National Action network called the charges against Hunter "trumped up". He says it all goes back to her fight to become juvenile court judge. "If we have people in this county, which I have been calling a gang of bullies, which were willing to spend almost $2 million of taxpayer money keeping her off the bench, they will do whatever they can to get her off of the bench."
Judge Hunter was removed from the bench as the case against her goes forward.
