Police Pull Over Possible Rolling Meth Lab

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WRKC) -- Police pull over a vehicle they believe contained a rolling meth lab Wednesday.

Hamilton County Sheriff, Jim Neil, reports that Deputy Boster initiated a traffic stop around 11a.m. on a car on I-74 near New Haven Road.  Chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine were found inside.

Hazmat crews responded to the incident along with the regional narcotic unit and the Harrison fire department.  The scene was processed as a mobile meth lab.

43-year-old Robert Dwayne Gerber of Trapp, Kentucky has been charged with illegal manufacture of drugs, methamphetamine, and illegal assembly or possession of chemical for the manufacture of drugs.

Additional charges could be filed.  Items have been submitted to the Hamilton County Coroners lab for analysis.

Gerber was transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center.  He will be arraigned Thursday.
