Six Years for Woman Who Assaulted Police Officer

LOVELAND, Ohio (WKRC) -- A woman is headed to prison for six years after assaulting a police officer.

A judge Thursday sentenced Benji Brown of Loveland.  Last May, a state trooper found her sleeping in a stolen van at a rest stop on I-71.

She then led troopers on a chase that reached speeds of 125 miles per hour.  It ended when she collided with a patrol cruiser.

Brown also injured a Mason police officer while avoiding stop sticks.  She must pay more than 25,000 dollars in restitution and can never drive again.
