Reds Caravan to travel to 5 states

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- There are just 22 days until Reds pitchers and catchers report to spring training. Fans don't have to wait that long to see Reds players and coaches.  The Reds Caravan leaves Thursday at 9 a.m.

New manager Bryan Price says he's happy with the team he has. That's probably one of the questions he'll field from fans during the caravan. It begins and ends at Great American Ball Park and it goes for four days. Four buses will roll out Thursday. Organizers say the tour is bigger and better this year. The four buses will travel 3,000 miles and make 17 stops in 5 states.
Manager Bryan Price says, "one thing we want to do is establish relationships with our players, with our fans and really get further connected. The more we know about each other the better we can create some understandings on how we want to do things and how we want to present ourselves to our fans and play the game the right way."

The Reds Caravan includes coaches, former and current players. The event ends Sunday at Great American Ball Park with Select-a-Seat at noon. Fans can meet with Reds ticket representatives to choose ticket plans and seat locations for the 2014 season. A question and answer session will follow.
