Three Rivers High School gets Superdome turf

CLEVES, Ohio (WKRC) -- The Three Rivers High School football team will now play on the same turf as the New Orleans Saints.

The school district bought the turf from the Saints' Superdome.  The new turf was delivered to the high school Monday.

The Three Rivers educational campus opened its classrooms at the beginning of this school year but its athletic fields are still a work in progress.

The artificial turf is just one year old and cost the district $146,000. The original purchase price was $900,000.
