15 and 16-year-olds suspected of 2 Avondale murders

AVONDALE, Ohio (WKRC) -- Cincinnati police have connected two recent homicides to a pair of teenagers. They are both are in custody. 

The teenage boys, just 15 and 16 years old, are facing murder charges.  The killings happened in the same block of Irving Street in Avondale, just one week apart.

They are accused of killing 45-year-old William Moritz on January 20th. He died after being shot in his car. Another person in the car was also shot, but survived.

On Monday, police found 35-year-old Deshawn Hutchinson behind a building on Irving. He was shot more than once. Hutchinson died a short time later at the hospital.

Detectives quickly identified the suspected shooters. The Fugitive Apprehension Squad made the arrests late Tuesday night.
