Messy Weather Hits Tri-State Saturday Evening

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Snow showers came through the tri-state Saturday evening creating some travel difficulties in the area.

The snow first started appearing about 4 p.m. By dinner time, a lot of area roadways were slushy and a little slick. Advance warning helped to keep problems at a minimum. Road crews were out salting before the snow even started. The snow was a little heavier in northern parts of the Local 12 viewing area.

Local 12 reporter Brad Underwood spent the evening in the West Chester area. He said he saw ODOT crews up and down I-75 constantly and that the interstate was in fairly good shape. There were still a lot of people out on Tylersville Road shopping and eating out. The snow did not appear to deter many people from going out.
