UC Shooting Suspect Now Charged with Murder

AVONDALE, Ohio (WKRC) -- A man arrested for attacking a UC student is now linked to a murder and faces a new list of charges.

The Hamilton County Grand Jury indicted Michael Davis Friday.  Police arrested him last week for robbing and shooting a student in the leg on Jefferson Avenue.

Now detectives say Davis is involved in the death of 19-year-old Curron Jones.  Jones was shot in the driveway of a home on Hallwood Place in Avondale last month.

Two teenagers are also charged in that murder, 17-year-old Deangelo Grant and 16-year-old Thomas Gordon.
