It happened in Knifefly, which is about 70 miles east of Bowling Green. One person was taken to the hospital with burns.

Adair County Emergency Management Director Greg Thomas says the explosion left a crater 60 feet around.

Thomas says one person was hospitalized with burns and another was brought to the hospital for evaluation. In addition to the two homes that were destroyed, Thomas says a third home was damaged by fire along with four or five vehicles.
