Bookkeeper indicted for check fraud scheme

LEBANON, Ohio (WKRC) -- A former bookkeeper at Lebanon Raceway is accused of stealing over 100,000 dollars from the track.

A grand jury indicted Susan Wilson Tuesday on grand theft and unlawful use of property charges.  The indictment alleges Wilson issued checks for phony winnings to her husband totaling over 111,000 dollars between 2010 and 2012.  Then, she would allegedly sign her husband's name and cash the checks.

The fraud was discovered when the Raceway's ownership changed hands.
