Fire damaged two-family home in Avondale

AVONDALE, Ohio (WKRC) -- A fire drives people from their Avondale home Monday morning.
The fire broke out on Larona Drive at about 10:30 a.m. Crews contained the fire to the attic of the two-family home.

The fire did not burn through the roof, but the family who lives on the second floor is looking for a new place to stay. The Red Cross is helping the four adults and three children. The family on the first floor of the home will be able to return.

A Duke Energy crew was at the home earlier in the day, but it's not clear why they were there or if there was any connection to the fire. The fire remains under investigation.
