Holmes student in court for gun at school

COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) -- A Holmes High School student, accused of bringing a gun to school, appears before a judge Wednesday.

A judge set bond for 18-year-old Cameron Kelley at $2,500. Kelley is also ordered to stay off school property.

Holmes High School officials say Kelley brought the gun to school with plans to sell it. A school resource officer found the gun.

Kelley faces charges of unlawful possession of a weapon on school property, as well as carrying a concealed weapon.
