Equipment Stolen in Ambulance Theft

WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky. (WKRC) -- Police are searching for the thieves who targeted an ambulance.

Early Wednesday morning two men broke into the ambulance on Kimberly Lane in Williamstown.  Police say they stole two bags that contained both basic life saving and advanced life saving equipment.

Investigators say it is lucky the ambulance was not called to an emergency because the theft meant EMT's would have none of their most important tools.

Williamstown police want to hear from anyone who may know what happened to the bags.  Call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.
