Services set for Judge William McClain
CINCINNATI (AP) -- Services have been set for pioneering southwest Ohio lawyer and judge William McClain.

Born in Sanford, N.C., McClain was the only black student in Wittenberg University's Class of 1934. The school dedicated the William A. McClain Center for Diversity in his honor. He earned his law degree from the University of Michigan.
There will be visitations Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church in Cincinnati. A funeral service is at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by burial at Spring Grove Cemetery.
