Innocent bystander, man shot in Hartwell

HARTWELL, Ohio (WKRC) -- Police are investigating a shooting in Hartwell Monday afternoon that injured two people, including an innocent bystander.

Police say the shooting was a result of an altercation in a parking lot on Constitution Drive, off of Williamsburg at 12:45 p.m. A man was shot at least twice in the back. He drove himself to Drake Hospital. He was then taken to U.C. Medical Center.

A stray bullet hit a nearby apartment. A woman inside was either shot in the knee or something was hit that then injured her. She was also taken to the hospital.

Police are searching for suspects.
