Cruisers collide in a crash involving OSP and CPD

SEDAMSVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) -- A crash involving an Ohio State Patrol Trooper and a Cincinnati Police officer shut down River Road Thursday morning.

The state trooper was running radar on River Road near Hillside when he pulled out to do a u-turn to catch a speeder. In his blind spot  was the Cincinnati Police officer. The CPD cruiser hit the OSP car.

Neither officer was hurt. The collision cracked the CPD cruiser's oil pan, so crews had to clean up the spill. The westbound lane remained closed at 10:25.
