Teen accused of breaking into home, firing shots in court

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A man charged in a home invasion in South Fairmount appeared before a judge Tuesday.

19-year-old Lashawn Larkin is locked up in the Hamilton County Justice Center on a $250,000 bond.
Investigators say Larkin and another suspect broke into a home on Mandery Avenue Monday. The homeowner grabbed a gun when he heard the break-in. The victim tells police Larkin and his accomplice beat him and overpowered him to get the gun. They reportedly fired shots at the homeowner. He was not hit. The homeowner grabbed another gun and fired a shot at the suspects.
Police say Larkin and his accomplice ran. Police have not said if they've identified the second suspect. The case now goes to a grand jury.
