Snow and Ice Creating Problems Wednesday Morning
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Most of the snow and ice falling in the tri-state overnight from Tuesday into Wednesday was moving out of the area by 5 a.m. Total snow accumulations were mostly between 2 and 4 inches in the tri-state. The largest accumulations were seen in northern areas of the Local 12 viewing area.
In the early morning hours, road conditions were still described as very treacherous. There were numerous reports of cars getting stuck. Hills were presenting problems for many vehicles. The City of Cincinnati issued a snow parking emergency. That means all cars parked in areas with signs saying "No Parking During Snow Emergency" must be moved or they could be towed.
Interstate conditions varied with some areas still snow covered, but some areas were clear and just wet.
