Catholic Health Partners may move headquarters

BOND HILL, Ohio (WKRC) -- A big hospital operator is looking to move its offices and Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley says Catholic Health Partners is taking a serious look at Bond Hill.

The hospital firm has outgrown its current office building downtown near the casino.  Mayor Cranley wants to keep the tax dollars and hundreds of jobs in the city.  He says Catholic Health Partners is considering several options.

Cranley said, "If they decide it's a good movie for CHP it could be a catalytic and transformative impact for Bond Hill, supporting all the other projects which we are trying to support in that area."

Mayor Cranley says the Bond Hill plan has about a hundred African-American business owners teaming up to invest in property and become joint landlords with the hospital chain.

Catholic Health Partners isn't speculating on the possibility of a move.  It operates all the Mercy Hospitals in our area.
